Sudan's health ministry reports over 430 cholera-related deaths and nearly 14,000 infections in the past month amid ongoing civil war.
Efforts to combat the outbreak are hampered by the conflict, which has claimed up to 150,000 lives since last year, making it difficult to deliver medical assistance.
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) noted that humanitarian efforts are severely obstructed by both sides of the conflict.
Heavy rainfall, flooding, and overcrowding in displacement camps have worsened the situation.
The health minister declared a cholera outbreak in mid-August, leading to the closure of schools and markets in some areas to contain the spread.
