Works and Housing Ministry launches digital platform for Rent Control Department

Dr. Prince Hamid Armah, Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, has launched the Rent Control Department’s new Digital Platform, aimed at transforming Ghana’s rental housing sector.

This initiative will modernize rent administration by digitizing services, improving efficiency, and ensuring fairness for both tenants and landlords.

The first phase of the project digitizes 15 Rent Control offices across 11 regions, making rent services more accessible.

Dr. Armah emphasized the platform’s role in promoting transparency and accountability, calling it a key step towards a more inclusive and efficient public service.
