Lack of funds stalled amphitheaters’ construction – Okraku-Mantey on NPP manifesto promise

Deputy Tourism Minister Mark Okraku Mantey admitted that the construction of five promised amphitheaters has stalled due to funding issues.

The World Bank initially funded the project, but the $500,000 per facility proved insufficient due to rising costs.

Additional funding requests are pending, with completion expected by early 2025.
